On April 20, 2019 the legendary Tampa/St. Petersburg band, The Catherine Wheel (previously I.C.U. and later Edison Shine) reunited for a special show at the St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts in conjunction with an exhibit celebrating legendary artist Theo Wujcik. The band hadn’t played together in over 25 years.

Sure, there was plenty of nostalgia and warm fuzzy feelings reliving the early 1990s, but there was more going on that just that. This band was, and is, seriously good. After all this time, this was a validation of their importance to our local music scene.

The show was phenomenal. I took pictures that I hope do it justice. Enjoy.
